KRAFT+ FEBRUARY CHALLENGE

I have managed to complete another challenge layout and this time it is with the new Challenge site Kraft+.

This is completely out of my comfort zone, using a kraft background but here is my layout.  This photo was taken at a wedding we attended this month

I have used a stencil from the Flying Unicorn February kit and I love it.  I have used Viva Modelling Creme - Lightblue.  All the embellishments are from the D-lish Scraps shop which you can find here

The chipboard and title have been painted with Tim Holtz Paints and embossed using crystal glitter embossing powder.

Here are some close ups and the Kraft + February challenge board

Last DT Reveal for D-lish Scraps for February .. Graduation

My last post of the month at D-lish Scraps is of a photo that I am very proud - My son's graduation from Year 12.  The world is now his oyster and time to make his path in life.

I used Kaisercraft Collection "off the wall" for the background page.  I have used a 13 arts stencil and texture paste and then distress paint " mustard seed" and Shimmerz paint Jeni B Bleu.

I have layered behind the photo with Monochrome Colour Journal Its pack

I have coloured the chipboard arrows with black ink

The background stamp I have used is from Kaisercraft -  "arty".  Currently my favourite stamp!

I have coated this wood veneer quote with Distress Paint - Mustard Seed

FINAL DT REVEAL FOR THE MONTH AT SCRAPBOOKIT

Hi there again - this is my final reveal for this month at Scrapbookit.  As you will have noticed I have loved the collection by Kaisercraft.  This layout was created with the moodboard using the first square "who are you".

As this photo was taken back in the 1970's I thought the paisly paper was right for this era.  I did white wash it to blend it into the background a little so that my photo and embellishments would stand out.  As the paper was fairly busy, I decided to keep the rest of the layout simple but effective.  Here are some close ups:

It has been great creating these layouts this month, I hope that you have enjoyed seeing my layouts, and dont forget to have a go at this months awesome moodboard. You can find the link here

Happy scrapping til next time :)

DT REVEAL FOR D-LISH

Hi there everyone - my day for a reveal at D-lish Scraps - sorry it is late but we have been having internet problems.  Back up and running now so I can show you my layout based on this months moodboard. I was inspired by the photo of the ocean and the colours.

I have used Ombre Dreams Paper by Blue Fern Studio.  I covered the entire 12x12 with clear gesso to allow the paints to sit nicely on the paper and not soak in.  I have used a Tim Holtz Stencil with Shimmerz Texturez paste "Patina".

I have then applied stamps from Ranger and Kaisercraft using a brown ink.  I have used Inklingz Water colour "Freshly minted" on the background together with splatters of the Shimmerz Texture Paste

I will list all the D-lish products at the bottom of the blog with links to the store.

Here are some close ups:

This chipboard has been coated with Viva Inka Gold - Indian Yellow

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to check out the fabulous moodboard here and have a go this month.

I will be back tomorrow with another layout to share.  Til then Happy Scrapping :)

3RD DT REVEAL AT SCRAPBOOKIT

Hi I am back again with another layout created for Scrapbookit from the awesome Kaisercraft Besty's Couture collection.  I have used embellishments from the Collectables collection and kaisercraft flowers.

This photo was taken when a couple of friends and myself went on a road trip to the south of Tasmania - hence the inspiration of the road in this months moodboard challenge.

I created the background with a stencil and texture paste.  I then used cut up pieces from the paper collection to form the area of the layout and then applied gesso to the entire layout, wiping the gesso off before it dried in alot of the areas.  I randomly stamped the layout and then built up the layers from there.

Here are some close ups:

I hope that you are enjoying what I am creating with this wonderful collection as much as I am, and I will be back with my last layout tomorrow.  In the meantime dont forget to have a go at this months moodboard challenge - found here

Til then, Happy Scrapping.
