Scrapbook Boutique DT Reveal

Good morning everyone.  Today I am up on The Scrapbook Boutique Blog and have created a layout using the Echo Park Paper Collection - Petticoats and Pinstripes.

I placed some of the stickers from the sticker sheet around where my layout was going to be.

After applying clear gesso, I have used the Finnabair/Prima Acrylic Paint using bubble wrap and the edge of a credit card.  I also mixed Prima Heavy Body Gel and mini art stones together and applied through a Kaisercraft Diamond Stencil.

To finish I outlined some of the triangles in the background paper with Distress Crayons - Festive Berries and Fossilized Amber using a waterbrush.

Here are some close ups.  I have listed the products used at the end of this blog with a link to the Scrapbook Boutique Store.

thanks for stopping by - til next time Happy crafting :)

More than Words May Challenge - Sweet Moment

I have created a layout using the April Moodboard for More Than Words

Here is this months challenge - all about clocks and moments

I chose this photo of my dog as a puppy - it was a moment in time that just seems to disappear as they grow up so quickly.

I used Carta Bella paper - Old World Travel collection.  I created the background using TCW Stencil - cosmic swirl.  I had sprayed through it onto another layout and used the excess to dab onto this layout.  I think used TCW Mini stencil - Time Travel with whipped spackle.

Colour was created using Lindy Stamp Gang Starbursts spray - Mission Bells Brown, Cocoa Bean Copper and Drop Dead Gorgeous Green.

The photo mat was created using Pink Paislee Hope Chest Collectables and I stamped clocks using stamps from Kaszazz and Tim Holtz.  These were embossed with Stampendous Aged Copper Embossing Enamel and Pearl White Embossing Powder.

The Whichcraft Do You Do chipboard was also embossed using Stampendous Aged Copper Embossing Enamel

Final touches with splatters from the inks used and gesso together with Art Basic Micro beads and Glass Glitter.

Thanks for stopping by and til next time Happy Crafting :)

Colour Blast DT Reveal

Good morning from the wintery depths of Tasmania.  The days are shorter and definately colder and there is nothing better than scrapping by the fire - just love winter!!!!

Today I have prepared an art journal page for Colour Blast which is about release - live, dream, free yourself from the day to day activities.

I started by applying washi tape, masking tape, and plasterboad tape to the pages.

I then randomly applied crackle paste to my pages and texture paste with a Kaisercraft diamond stencil. I used some chipboard off cuts from Whichcraft Do You Do and I covered this all with a light coat of gesso.

I sprayed Colour Blast Shimmer Sprays - Rose Petal, Lipstic, Royalty, Dusty Charcoal and Lovely Lilac drying in between each colour.

I used Colour Blast Embossing Powder - Royalty and Lovely Lilac on the WhichCraft Do You Do chipboard

Final touches with Kaisercraft Clear stamps, 7 Dots Cold Country Word Stickers and Distress Crayon in black around the edges.  Here are some close ups:

I have linked the products used at the bottom of the blog.

Until next time, thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting :)
