DT reveal - "forever" layout - 7 Aug

Hi there, I am up on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog to share a layout that I created using the Cocoa Vanilla "Love Always" collection - and what a better subject than a wedding!

I started by applying crackling texture paste with two stencils - a Dusty attick flower stencil and Kaisercraft "love quarters" (please excuse the photo quality but it was done at night and the light was too reflective and/or not good enough).  Once the paste was dry I have applied a mixture of inks - Prima Colour Bloom - Cotton Candy, Prima Mica Powders - Lilac Opal Magic and Green Opal Magic, Perfect Pearls Mists - Perfect Pearl and Lindy Stamp Gang Magicals - Tilt a wheel teal, t bird turquoise and cotton candy pink.

I then cut up doilees by tearing the edges from the centre and then cutting into three pieces.  I have layered these on top of each other to frame around the photo. I have used Prima 3D Matte gel to adhere them

I have then added some of the Cocoa Vanilla Bitty Blooms, Bits and Pieces, Die Cut Ephemera and a flair button.

Teddy Bears Picnic

Hi there all, sadly this is my last post for Colour Blast but I am super excited to see what the new team create and continuing to play with their wonderful products.

I have collected teddy bears and teapots for many years now, and so decided to combine the two on my last post and make a teapot for one of my teddy bears - a true teddy bear picnic!

I have used a wooden kaisercraft teapot and painted it with black gesso.

I then used a kaisercraft stencill and Colour Blast Paste - Royalty and Lovely Lilac.  I love how these pastes are like soft butter.

Once this was dry I sprayed the pieces with Colour Blast Shimmer Spray - Snowwhite and Bling.  After putting the teapot together I then decorated it with assorted flowers from my stash.

Here are some photos of different angles and close ups:

I used Viva Modelling Cream - Pearl and a memory Box Stencil to create the background

I have collated some tags from the collection and 2 doilees.  I later inked the edges of the tags with Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry and Evergreen Bough.
