LYNN -    (you are here)

Here are some process photos and close ups:

I cut up pieces of the 49 and Market paper and laid around where my photo is going.  I used Matt Medium to adhere them to the cardstock.

I them covered the joins with gesso to blend it all together.  I then used a stencil and texture paste over the top.

Hi have used Lind Stamp Gang sprays - Hi Maintenance Magenta, Bling-y Blonde and Sassy Sapphire

I also used the Kaisercraft Marble stamp with black stazon ink randomly on the layout.
I fussy cut flowers, butterflies, birds and a bird cage.

All the fussy cut pieces I inked with Distress Oxide - Worn Lipstick.

I used 49 and Market flowers on the layout

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to keep blog hopping.

Memory Maze DT Layout

Hi there, I am up on the Memory Maze blog with a 12x12 scrapbook layout featuring not only the Memory Maze Chipboard but also the stunning metal flowers and stencil.

I started with 13 Arts Paper from Aria Story Collection.  I created the background using the Memory Maze stencil and whipped spackle randomly around the area of the photo.  I have then used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink, Fossilized Amber and water, drying between the layers.

The Square Mesh Grunge Chipboard has been painted black with Dylusions Paint.  This co-ordinates well with the kaisercraft stamp in the background.

The title "Live the Moment" has also been painted with Dylusions paint and when dry I have added a coat of dimensional magic to make it pop.

Two Memory maze metal flowers have been adhered with 3D Gloss Medium and sprinkled with Micro Beads.

Splatters of white and black ink bring the layout together.

12x12 layout for The Scrapbook Boutique.

WOW - April already - I cant believe how fast this year is travelling.  Today I have a 12 x 12 layout using the awesome 49 and Market papers for The Scrapbook Boutique.

The paper is from the Vintage Artistry collection - Seeds of Love

Here are some close ups:

I have created the background using a stencil and Nuvo Embellishment mousse (love this stuff!)

Once dried I have used Lindy Stamp Gang Sprays  - instead of spraying I have splattered ink droplets and then droplets of water to spread the colours.  As a last layer of colour I have splattered watered down gesso.

I have then used a Kaisercraft stamp - Marble with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain randomly around the layout.

The die cut title is from Die-namics and I used regular brown cardstock and one coat of glossy accents.  I have edged all the papers with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain.

Thanks for stopping by.  I have linked the products used below.

Until next time  - Happy Crafting.

Memory Maze DT Scrapbook Layout

Good morning - well march is nearly over - where is the year going?  Today I am up on the Memory Maze blog and I  have made a layout using the beautiful double heart vintage frame.

I have used 13 Arts paper - feeling blue from the Aura Rosa Collection,  I love this paper as it is thick and withstands mixed media and larger chipboard.

I have created the background using the Memory Maze Dots and Stuff stencil and Nuvo Mousse Mother of Pearl randomly around the page.

I used gesso and a stiff brush to get a bit of texture on  the  Memory Maze double heart vintage frame before embossing it with Stampendous Embossing Enamel - Shabby Blue.

The Memory Maze title has been painted with a dark brown acrylic paint and topped with Glossy Accents.

The layout came together beautifully with the Petaloo flowers, glass beads, micro beads, Liquid pearls and Distress Glitter Dust.
