Lets Get Sketchy DT Reveal - March Week 1

This weeks sketch over at letsgetsketchy I used a couple of photos of my beloved Mollie who unfortunately died unexpectedly at age 4 of cancer. She was a show girl but any chance she could get she would play in the mud!

POP AND COLOURS WORKSHOP WITH IRINA

This is the layout that I created after taking the workshop with Irina Teeshoom.  This was completely out of my comfort zone and I had not used this much water colour on a page before.  In saying this, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of creating this layout.

I used gelatos as the water colours with the exception of the black which was a paint. Paper - Suede.  I found that it was very responsive to the water colours.  Here are some close ups:

Here is a layout that I completed after doing the workshop with Nadia Cannizzo.   This is a photo of myself when I was about 4!- cant believe I still have that hairstyle!

I used alot of gesso, glimmer mists, black ink and gelatos, together with iamroses flowers and dusty attic chipboard gears.

This is a photo of my youngest son at his Grade 10 Leavers dinner in 2011 with a couple of his mates.
