D-lish Scraps DT January Layout # 1 - Graffiti

Morning all, today I am sharing my layout for D-lish Scraps, based on the Tutti Fruitti mood board and sketch challenge - love these bold colours and thought I would do a "clean" layout. It is not often I do these!! but love the result.  The photo is of graffiti on a wall in Melbourne city.

I started with the fabulous mini packs - "orange".  I coloured the frame and the chipboard letters with embossing powder.  To create the background of the orange cardstock, I used a white charcoal pencil and brick stencil.

Love the sequins that come with the pack - I think they are my new favourites!
Below are some more close ups and I have a full product list linking to the store at the end of the blog

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to have a go this month at the awesome mood board and sketch challenge at D-lish Scraps - the link to their blog is here and we will hopefully catch up again tomorrow xx

LETS GET SKETCHY = JANUARY WEEK 1 DT REVEAL

Well it is unbelievable - we are in 2015. This past month has flown.  I hope that everyone had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year.  Over at Lets Get Sketchy we have a new sketch by Brenshevia and here is my take:

Being the festive/holiday season I thought I would create a layout of our holiday to Queensland, way back in 2008.  We visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Here is the sketch:

I used paper from 7 Gypsies "Sheena".  The background stencil is a Kaisercraft Stencil with Shimmer Paints TextureZ - Artie Choked.

Some Close ups:

Flowers are from Petaloo.  Diecuts - Impression Obsession - birdhouse and birds, Fancy That Die Cut - Leafy Swirl

The chipboard is from Which Craft Do you Do and embossed with Lindy Stamp Gang Embossing Powder "Oakleaf Live".

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to head over to Lets Get Sketchy and have a go at the sketch.

LETS GET SKETCHY MAGAZINE SUBMISSIONS - SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EDITION

Lets Get Sketchy have got a Christmas Edition of the online magazine.

I created a couple of holiday layouts from our holiday way back in 2008 when we did a 5 week caravan holiday from Tasmania to Queensland.

This photo is of my son at Currumbin Wildlife Park.  We visited zoo's and wildlife parks on our journey as Sam had at the time a strong desire to become a vet.  His love for animals continues, but now at 18 he has changed his mind!!!!

Here are some close ups - I have listed the products below the close ups

Papers - Bo Bunny
Petaloo Flowers
Fussy cut butterflies from Kaisercraft Paper
Chipboard – Dusty Attic
Kaisercraft Project Life Cards
Cotton
Kaisercraft and Scrap FX Stamps

The second holiday layout I created is from the last day of our holiday when we were about to board the boat back to Tasmania.  Bucketing with rain, gail force winds, we drive around the last corner to the boat and the wheel fell off the van breaking the bolts.  We had one hour to spare, and at that time I was very pleased my husband is a mechanic and managed to do a make shift repair so we made the boat!

and again some close ups:

The chipboard clocks and cogs have been painted with Inklingz Paints and then Dusty Attic Rusting Powder applied.  (loving this new product I got!)

The stencil is from Crafters Workshop and I have used a crackling texture paste.

Products used:

Paper – Bo Bunny
Chipboard – Which Craft Do you Do, Kaisercraft & Dusty Attic
Distress Ink
Crafters Workshop Stencil
Prima Colour Bloom Spray

We were also asked to create a Christmas Layout using non christmas colours:

This is a photo of my Dad's animals.  My step mum is an amazing animal trainer and she often creates a photo for Christmas cards with her pets!

and the last layout is a winter layout - this photo is of our letter boxes at the end of our street, when it snowed at the start of summer

I used a Prima Stencil and modelling paste, then applied Shimmer Paintz spray.  The chipboard is from Which Craft Do You Do and I have used Puff Paint to create a snow effect.

Morning everyone - this is the last post for me for 2014 for D-lish Scraps so I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas and safe new year  - and I will be back in January with some new layouts.

This last layout is completely different from the previous 2 - back to my heritage layouts.  This is a photo of my mum when she was 18 months old.

I have used 7 Dots Studio Paper from the Destination Unknown College for the background and the tags behind the photo.  Background stencil is The Crafters Workshop with Shimmerz Paints Texturez in Artie Choked.  The second stencil is from Tim Holtz.  For the background colour I used Glimmer Mist - Gumdrops.  The edges of the tags have been distressed and inked with distress ink - Bundled Sage.

These gorgeous flowers are from Little Bird and I have created a link at the bottom of this post.

I have also linked other products from the D-lish store like these metal figarines.

This gorgeous background stamp is a Tim Holtz Stamp

The title has been embossed with Stampedous Aged Silver embossing powder.  Random dots are Liquid Pearls in Dark Chocolate.

D-LISH SCRAPS - 2ND DT REVEAL

Hi, Lynn back again at D-lish Scraps with another leavers dinner photo.  I chose a very pink layout today :)

I have used Aida Demisiewicz paper from the Tender Morning Collection.  I created the background using  Glimmermist - Pop Rocks and Lindy Stamp Gang Spray - Bougainvillia Fushsia.  I then covered it all with white gesso focusing it in the middle of the page.
I used two stencils - TCW brick stencil and Memory Box rings and puddles.

The chipboard hearts were painted with Lindy Stamp Gang Magicals - Witches Potion Purple and I then applied dimensional magic and glitter.

The Chipboard title was inked in black and coated with Dimensional Magic.

The stamps I used are from Gabrielle Pollacco and Tim Holtz

I have randomly applied the purple glitter to the flowers and around the layout.

Products from D-lish store are listed below the photos, with a link to the store
