D-lish Scraps DT reveal # 3

Morning all, this is my last layout for January for D-lish Scraps.  I have gone with a summer beach photo - although we are not having much of a summer here in Tasmania.

The paper i have used is from Riddersholm design "Tailgate".  I love these papers as they are so thick.  To create the background I have used a Kaisercraft Circle stencil, Lindystamp Gang Moonshadow "buccaneer Bronze and Starburst "Sweet Violet Purple Teal.  I used clear embossing ink and a Kaisercraft stamp with which I embossed with gold embossing powder.

I will list at the bottom of this blog all the D-lish goodies with a link to the store.  Here are some close ups:

D-lish Scraps DT Reveal # 2

Good morning, I am back again over at D'lish Scraps and this time with a completely different project from yesterday's bold and "mixed media free" layout.  This is my diary for 2015 which I have made - I am going to try and be more organised this year!!!!!

I started by applying a couple of coats of gesso to the folder and used a Kaisercraft Stencil "dots".  The background colour is Lindy Stamp Gang Spray "salt water taffy" and Inklings paint "freshly minted".

From here is was layer upon layer of D-lish goodness!  I started with a Monochrome Kit pack - Purple.

Here are some closeups:  I have listed the products used at the bottom of the blog.

I have linked the products used to the D-lish store:

D-lish Scraps DT January Layout # 1 - Graffiti

Morning all, today I am sharing my layout for D-lish Scraps, based on the Tutti Fruitti mood board and sketch challenge - love these bold colours and thought I would do a "clean" layout. It is not often I do these!! but love the result.  The photo is of graffiti on a wall in Melbourne city.

I started with the fabulous mini packs - "orange".  I coloured the frame and the chipboard letters with embossing powder.  To create the background of the orange cardstock, I used a white charcoal pencil and brick stencil.

Love the sequins that come with the pack - I think they are my new favourites!
Below are some more close ups and I have a full product list linking to the store at the end of the blog

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to have a go this month at the awesome mood board and sketch challenge at D-lish Scraps - the link to their blog is here and we will hopefully catch up again tomorrow xx

LETS GET SKETCHY = JANUARY WEEK 1 DT REVEAL

Well it is unbelievable - we are in 2015. This past month has flown.  I hope that everyone had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year.  Over at Lets Get Sketchy we have a new sketch by Brenshevia and here is my take:

Being the festive/holiday season I thought I would create a layout of our holiday to Queensland, way back in 2008.  We visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Here is the sketch:

I used paper from 7 Gypsies "Sheena".  The background stencil is a Kaisercraft Stencil with Shimmer Paints TextureZ - Artie Choked.

Some Close ups:

Flowers are from Petaloo.  Diecuts - Impression Obsession - birdhouse and birds, Fancy That Die Cut - Leafy Swirl

The chipboard is from Which Craft Do you Do and embossed with Lindy Stamp Gang Embossing Powder "Oakleaf Live".

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to head over to Lets Get Sketchy and have a go at the sketch.
