DT Reveal for D'lish Scraps

Hi there, this is the first layout for this month over at D'lish Scraps and  I am sharing a photo that was taken of my son since he has moved to the mainland.

I have used Kaisercraft Paper from the Extreme collection as the background.  I have applied gesso to the centre where I wanted to place the photo and embellishments.  I have used a Tim Holtx triangle stencil and Tim Holtz and Kaisercraft Stamps.

I have then applied Shimmerz Paints - Oh Say Can U Sea and Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Gold.  I have used clear embossing powder on the areas where I used the Colour Shine.

The photo strips have been cut from a 12x12 Kaisercraft Art of Life Negatives sheet.

Here I have used Journal It's Library Card for the date and a sentiment paper clip

The wood veneer arrows have been painted with black chalk ink and Silks Acrylic Paint

Here I have used a flairlittle birdie flower, D'lish enamel dots, Paper ClipBlack sequins and a heart chipboard embossed with a red embossing powder

The word believe has been painted with black chalk ink

the frame has been embossed with a gold embossing powder and a Lindy Stamp Gang Embossing powder - Terra Cotta Rose

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back tomorrow with another layout.

LETS GET SKETCHY DT REVEAL

This week at Lets Get Sketchy we have a sketch by Bev Code.  I have changed the flowers for gears.
This is a photo of my son finally getting back on a bike after 6 years - he raced from 6 - 15 years but we sold the bike due to attitude!!!!  He has finally saved enough money to buy his own and has not lost any of his passion or found fear!!

Here is a copy of the sketch

I have used Bo Bunny Back to Basics and Coordinations The Chocolate box paper.

The chipboard is from Which Craft Do you Do and Tim Holtz.  I have used Chalk Ink "Dark Rust" on the title and arrows,  Tim Holtz distress ink on the gears - Scattered Straw, Tea Dye, Aged Mahoganny and Bundled Sage,  I had then added Dimensional Magic.

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to head over to Lets Get Sketchy and have a go at this great sketch.

A WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Today I am sharing a wedding card and box that I made for a friends wedding recently.  I wanted to stick to the wedding colours - which were black and white with silver.

Here is the card

I have used flowers from iamroses. The background die cut is from spellbinders "bow elegance".  I have used a Prima resin and a chipboard embossed in silver (my camera decided that wasnt a good colour to photograph!)

Here is the box:
