Over at Lets Get Sketchy - September has a Week 5 and we can all create a layout - the challenge is to create a layout with "you" as the focus.
Here is my layout:
Very rarely do I have my photo taken!!!!
I have used the awesome Ombre Dreams paper for the background. The Crafters Workshop stencil "Labyrinth" with modelling paste. The chipboard I coloured with Chalk Ink Pastel Green and Moss Lawn for the leaves and then Polysparkle embossing powder. Flowers are from iamroses. The resins are from Prima and coated with Viva Inka Gold - Violet. The edges of the backing strips are soloured with - Gelatos Metallic Grape. A few dots of Ranger Liquid Pearls "Orchid" and bling and the layout is complete.

This is a photo taken of the fruit trees in our backyard. I just love this time of the year.
I used watercolour paper for the background and a Crafters Workshop stencil with modelling paste. I applied Lindy Stamp Gang Sprays - Treasure Island Aqua, Wild Honeysuckle Coral, Jack in the Pulpit Teal, and Buccaneer Bronze together with Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge Paint.
The stamp is from Tim Holtz "ultimate grunge" collection. The Flowers are from iamroses. The leaves I have fussy cut from Provocraft paper.

LETS GET SKETCHY WEEK 2 DT REVEAL
Its that time of the month again and time for another reveal; This months sketch at Lets Get Sketchy is designed by Jenessa Franco. I have flipped the sketch around a little:
I have used plain yellow cardstock for the background and pieces of paper from the Prima Sunrise/Sunset collection. The ruler stencil is from Tim Holtz. The stamp is from Stampendous. The chipboard is from Which Craft Do you Do. I have coloured these with chalk ink and yellow and sparkle embossing power.
Here is the sketch for this week:

SEPTEMBER SCRAPBOOKIT CHALLENGE
I have created this layout for the September Challenge at Scrapbookit.
This was the criteria
Create a layout/project that includes the following:
*Masculine theme
* 4 patterned papers
* Washi Tape
* Twine/ribbon
*At least one hand made embellishment.
The first patterned paper I used was the 12x12 background page. I have had this for a while now and love it. It certainly didnt need much around it, or it would spoil the paper. I used a Crafters Workshop Stencil and Shimmerz Paints Texturez "Teal Me No Lies". I also added some dot stamp and circle wire stamp using my new Stampendous Stamps.
Three other patterned papers were used behind the photo together with tags from Stationers Desk Collection. These tags hold the required "twine". Letters are from Tim Holtz ideology collection. The Chipboard "Hero" was embossed with Stampendous Aged Silver Embossing Enamel.
I made the gears using a Tim Holtz die cut, coloured with distress inks and Dimensional Magic. The little centres I created with modelling clay and the melt molds. Coloured them with Silks Acrylic Glaze "emporer's gold" and Liquitex carbon black ink.
Washi Tape I used was one from my stash and another 7 Gypsies.

LETS GET SKETCHY SEPTEMBER WEEK 1 REVEAL
I remember writing that it is August already - and now it is September. Where is the year going? Being the start of the year, it is time for another challenge at Lets Get Sketchy
I chose to scrap a picture of my Mum taken back in 1956:
I used Prima paper from the Time Traveler Collection and Crafters Workshop stencil and Viva Modelling paste - "Mother of Pearl Champagner". Flowers are from Prima and Iamroses. Background cards are from Stationers Desk collection and the title from BoBunny Back to Basics Collection - a bit of a mixture right!
I used silk paints - love struck and emporers gold.
Here is the sketch - which I rotated right.
