KRAFT+ RETRO CHALLENGE

I loved the challenge this month at Kraft+ - Retro!!!!

Many moons ago I owned a Volkswagon SuperBug.  I loved this car and only sold it because when my son was born, I was told I shouldn't have  a capsule in the back seat as that is where the battery is and could cause a fire!  Of course I listened and sold my beloved VW.

Here is my layout

Here is the receipe challenge for the month:

I have fussy cut the circles from  Prima paper "Dude Collection".  The tags have been inked with Distress Ink - Salty Ocean, Rusty Hinge, Fired Brick and Mustard seed.

The "Sparkling of silver" has been applied using a Kaisercraft stencil, Silks Acrylic Paint "Silver Bells" and Texture paste.

The little cars have been stamped onto Prima Sunrise/sunset paper and punched using Taylored Expressions Stamps/diecuts.  Polka dot washi tape in Red, Blue and Orange.

The chipboard title has been inked with Silver Color Box ink and embossed with sparkling embossing powder.

Flowers are from i am roses.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time - Happy Crafting :)

  5. The 'Beetle' was notorious for catching fire. My friend's burnt to the ground in front her - lucky she escaped when it started to smoke! You probably made the right (although difficult) choice. I have loved exploring your page. Thank you so much for joining us!
