Altered Bamboo Serving Panel for Creative Artiste Mixed Media Blog.

Good morning,  I am SUPER excited to announce that I am on the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Design Team and my first project is up today.

This months challenge is sponsored by Lindy's Stamp Gang.  You can check out all the challenge info on the Creative Artiste Mixed Media blog here

I have decorated a Bamboo Serving Panel using the awesome Lindy Stamp Gang sprays

I have used silicone moulds with texture paste and gel medium to create some lace, butterflies and hearts which I adhered directly to the panel.

I applied white crackle paste to the blank areas of the panel and allowed this to dry naturally - i find it gives better cracks.

I have given the cracks a good spray of Lindy Stamp Gang - Midnight Rendevous Raven and then wiped it with a baby wipe which leaves the black in the cracks only.  I have then used the following Lindy Stamp Gang sprays on the panel:

Drop Dead Gorgeous Green
Hi Maintenance Magenta
Prima Donna Purple
Frozen Jack Frost

Once I was happy with the colour arrangement - after adding some dry brushing of gesso to tone some areas down I went about layering all the flowers and resins.

I have coloured the resins with Finnabair Art Alchemy Wax - Lucky Emerald, Rose Gold and Vintage Gold as well as Finnabair Sparks Paint - Iris Potion, Unicorns Hair and Butterfly Spells.

I have added Tulle in areas under the flowers.  Micro Beads in Copper and Berry together with Glass beads in Licorice and Butter have been added around the panel.

The last touch was some words from Tim Holtz Ideo-ology Big Chat, edged with Dusty Concord.

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to hop over to the Creative Artiste Mixed Media blog here

Til next time - Happy Crafting :)
